
As we said in our blog post about the new books in March: on the 8th of March it's International Women's Day. This year's campaign theme is 'Accelerate Action' and "emphasizes the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality. It calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres".
In our shop, we hope you know we have quite a lot of books written by women or books about strong women. We try our best to have a diverse selection but we can always do more! That's why all of our Book Clubs are focused on Feminism. Our Book Club for beginners has chosen together 'Women Who Changed the World' in the Penguin Readers collection. A book about women in different fields - education, sports, science, politics - and how they were able to change the world for women/equal rights. Conclusion after reading: these are very brave women yet we still have a long way to go.

We have two Book Clubs for experts: the first one will be with the author present. It's Megan Lally! And the second one we have the theme "Feminism" (like our April's Book Club intermediate). What are some other books we can advise for this month? These are some of the books we have in our shop:
Our battle is not done yet, there is still too much inequality in the world. So inform yourself, read about it, share these stories with everyone.
